Thursday Doors

I’m a huge fan of Norm’s Thursday Doors feature. I’ve been wanting to contribute since the day he converted it to an open link-up event.  That was one year last week, and this is my first contribution. What can I say… I go gaga over door photos, but I’m not great at spotting them “in the wild”.

      • I’ve noticed that since I’ve started to carry a camera with me, I’ve become so much more observant of the world around me.
… but I don’t have your talent behind the lens. I’m just a wannabe looking for a story 🙂

      • I’ve found the same thing to be true. Even when I don’t have the camera with me my mind is framing a scene. Funny how that works, isn’t it? BTW… I feel like a wannabe too. 🙂

  1. Yay!! So glad you decided to join us Amy but I warn you now; it is addictive 🙂
I love the cut-off corners and the matching storm shutters on the windows.
I’ve been to Cape Breton a number of times but sadly have never visited this area – I’ll have to check it out next time for sure. Thanks for sharing it.

  2. I love that roof, are they shingles? We don’t really have many like that in Ireland. If this is your first attempt at Thursday Doors, then I’m certainly going to enjoy your contributions. As Norm says, it can be addictive. 😉
