I’ve moved from plastic to glass, but I did stick with my (mostly) monochrome theme of the week with this shot taken through the mouth of a vase.
I’m not sure why, exactly, but it’s been way too long since I’ve played with my DSLR. In an effort to get back into the practice of snapping photos, I took my camera out of the closet and searched for something simple that would translate well into black and white. That something was the base of a lamp in my office.
On Wednesday, after two consecutive restless nights, I was not able to function properly at work, so I quit early and played with my camera instead.
I challenged myself to shoot the same thing—my work desk, chair and keyboard—ten different ways. I had also challenged myself to shoot all ten images in portrait orientation, but after I imported them to Lightroom, I realized that I had failed that part of the challenge. I absentmindedly shot one of my images in landscape. Oops!
For this week’s Daily Post photo challenge, I’ve decided to try something I’ve never done here before. I’m reusing photos I’ve already shared. Let’s call it my “Best of H2O” compilation.
I did it! I achieved my goal of capturing a photo a day for a year. It was fun, but I’m glad that it’s over. Here are the final 9 photos of my project
Well folks, it looks like the chances of me accomplishing my year long photo a day goal are pretty darn good. I haven’t missed a day yet, and (as of the time I’m scheduling this post to be auto published) I only have 8 photos left to snap. It’s been fun, but I’m really glad it’s almost over.
It’s that time again—time for my project 365 weekly wrap up. Only two more to go after this one!
