It’s the end of August, which means, it’s time for my 8th installment of Cardinal Guzman’s monthly photo challenge, The Changing Seasons 2016.
This week’s photos are, once again, a random representation of my week. That said, I could have easily included more than 3 sewing related images. I did a heck of a lot of sewing this week!
This week’s door belongs to my aunt and uncle. I was there on Monday, and as I was driving in I said, “Hey, there’s a Thursday Door!” My aunt was slightly mortified when I photographed the Easter decoration that she forgot to take down, but I thought it was was super cute. For her sake, let’s pretend it’s an old photo, okay?
I’m a huge fan of Norm’s Thursday Doors feature. I’ve been wanting to contribute since the day he converted it to an open link-up event. That was one year last week, and this is my first contribution. What can I say… I go gaga over door photos, but I’m not great at spotting them “in the wild”.
Guess what? I’ve decided to join Cardinal Guzman’s monthly photo challenge, The Changing Seasons 2016. I passed on it last year, but after seeing all the fantastic submissions from my blogging friends all over the globe, I started to feel like I was missing out on something fun. Oh well, I’m here now. Enough
chatting typing. Let’s get this party started!
Hallelujah, Spring has arrived! It’s a balmy 1°C and for the first time since some time in January there is a bare batch in the driveway!
This photo was taken the day before yesterday. When I woke up this morning, it looked very much the same. I know, snow can be pretty, but I’ve really had enough of the white stuff. Would you believe my raised vegetable beds are on the lawn in front of that little cottage? I wonder when I’ll see them again?
